Meet Dr Anthony Ramzy
With two parents who are dentists, Dr Anthony had the unique experience of growing up around dentistry. From a young age, his upbringing ignited a passion to help others regain their self-confidence through a healthy, beautiful smile.
“After attending University and having an opportunity to work in the field, I knew that I wanted to embark on a career in dentistry.” At Brunswick Road Dental, Dr Anthony finds it highly fulfilling to be able to make a positive impact on his patients each day-whether he’s relieving a toothache or enhancing their smile with a cosmetic treatment.
Dr Anthony honed his skills in dentistry practicing in inner city Melbourne and gained experience through a number of regional placements before joining his family in 2017 to realise a shared vision for state-of-the-art, modern, family-oriented dental care.
Education and Professional Development
Dr Anthony received his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and a Master in Dentistry from the renowned La Trobe University. While there, he particularly enjoyed getting to build relationships with classmates and professors from near and far.

Dentists have a unique understanding of oral and facial anatomy. As healthcare professionals, their familiarity with facial structures and symmetry plays an intricate role in their daily careers. Even the gentle application of injectables is something a dentist can safely offer, as they routinely provide injections within the mouth. Dr Anthony is qualified and accredited with the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA), giving him the additional training necessary for injectable and cosmetic therapies.
Our conservative, health-based approach to facial aesthetics differs from other purely cosmetic providers. As we work to establish symmetry and function, while reducing skin deterioration, our patients can benefit from improved skin tone, reduction in gummy smiles and eased symptoms of TMJ disorder/grinding.
Living an Active Life
When he’s not caring for patients’ smiles, Dr Anthony is a keen Essendon Football Club Member. He’s also a semi-professional soccer player.
